The Service includes social features where content is shared publicly. Specifically:
You may control certain aspects of your profile visibility, including whether your full name is displayed publicly. However, your username and posts will always be associated with your account on your public profile. Content you have posted cannot be fully retracted once other users have interacted with it (e.g., via reposts).
Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers. Stripe stores your payment method and we retain a card fingerprint for fraud prevention purposes — specifically to prevent the same physical card from being used for multiple free trials. This card fingerprint is an opaque identifier supplied by Stripe; it is not your card number and cannot be used to charge your card. We may retain it after account deletion as described in Section 8 (Data Retention). By using the Service, you agree to Stripe's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Purchases made in our iOS app use Apple's In-App Purchase system and are billed by Apple to your Apple ID. For these purchases we never receive your payment card details. We use RevenueCat, Inc. to validate App Store purchases and manage subscription status; RevenueCat processes purchase and transaction data together with an account identifier, and does not receive your name, payment card details, or other billing information from us. The card-fingerprint fraud-prevention mechanism described above applies only to purchases made on our website through Stripe.

When you report another user's content, the report is reviewed by Maizetronic, LLC administrators. Information contained in reports, including the identity of the reporting user, may be used to investigate the report and take moderation action. We do not routinely disclose the identity of users who submit reports, but we may do so if required by law or in connection with legal proceedings.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.
You may permanently delete your account at any time from your Account settings page. Deletion is immediate and permanent — there is no review period, grace period, or waiting period. When you delete your account, your profile and the personal data associated with it are permanently removed, your payment information is deleted from Stripe, and any active subscription is cancelled.
After deletion, we retain only a minimal set of fraud-prevention identifiers, and nothing else:
We retain these identifiers solely to enforce our one-free-trial-per-person policy (preventing repeated free-trial signups) and to maintain a deletion audit record. They contain no raw personal information — no name, email, address, or card number — and cannot be used to identify, contact, or re-associate you. We retain them only for as long as necessary for these fraud-prevention purposes.
We may also retain information where we are required to do so by law. Note that content you have posted that has been reposted or otherwise interacted with by other users may persist in those users' activity records after your account is deleted.

The Service is operated from the United States, and your information is processed and stored on servers located in the United States. By using the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
United Kingdom and EEA. If you are located in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: performance of our contract with you (providing the Service and your subscription), our legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service), and your consent where required. You have the rights described in Section 9, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).

The Service uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may affect the functionality of the Service.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We require age verification at signup and do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us at support@sharpterm.com and we will promptly delete it.
